"Why I Paint" is a Blurb

A Blurb book that is, and this with this neat gaget below you can read through the whole book. In the bottom right hand corner [with all the little arrows] you can click on it and the book will appear on your whole computer screen which might make it easier to read,  or you can click on the squares in the middle and see thumbnails. Use the left and right arrows to scroll forwards and backwards through the book. Enjoy. I sure had fun making it. To see more of James Lourie's work, fellow artist and writer of the words, check out his website.

  2. The sentiments in this book are lovely and sum up an artists commitment and passion, the feeling that you get some days of your fingers itching with the absolute necessity to make work. Thank you for sharing a much more eloquent version of that feeling with us all.

  3. Hi Wendy, thanks so much for your lovely comment. I an going to pass this on to James Lourie, the writer of the words, as his eloquence started this whole project. Like you, I felt he put into words something that I knew and felt but had been unable to formulate.
