Keeping My Eyes Down

While we were in London earlier this spring, J. kept having to grab me as I wandered into traffic [I was looking the wrong way even though it was clearly written at my feet which way to look]. After having a few near death experiences I began to pay attention; this is what I saw.

Yesterday's Finds

It's been so gorgeous that I've been spending all my time in the garden, or recovering from being in the garden. The studio is neglected; I just want to be outside in the lush growing green and clear light. It's all happening so quickly this year. Slow down time.

Yesterday's Light

After a good day in the garden, surrounded by rampant growth and the scent of apple blossoms, we caught up on a few more episodes of "The West Wing", while out of the corner of my eye I saw this light.

It's All Promise

Working in the garden yesterday I noticed the first tree peony bud; it's always a thrill to see. Snow last week, buds this week and by the end of May this will flower. There is a haze of magenta on the hills and mountains while around the pond it glows that almost florescent green, I love spring.
