Walking down a street the other day, keeping my eyes glued on where I was placing my feet, worried about slipping and sliding on the ice I found these seed pods. I almost threw the scans of them in the trash as I had forgotten to clean the scanner first and the scans were full of dust. Blowing them up though I found them beautiful, otherworldly, far galaxies; all this from something I stepped on walking down the street. Maybe I should look down more frequently when I walk.
So Interesting
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, it's always fun when you start to do one thing and end up with another.
Deletevery glad these delicious images did not end up in the bin Liz. They are incredibly evocative, and I too can see galaxies and stardust!
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan, I like it when I am taken by surprise at what I thought was a mistake and I love the idea that we are all stardust. [loved that Joni Mitchell song]
