40 Years + 1

A brief trip to New York City to celebrate our 41 years together, full of magic; meeting new friends, spending time with darling nieces, seeing Matisse again and again and again, visiting the Met, again and again, snow and cold, Brussels sprouts on every menu, taxis without shock absorbers, champagne, galleries, fun, kind and friendly people, a kaleidoscope of sound, colour, vitality; it was wonderful.

  2. Congratulations on 40 years together! Of course, part of me reads this post and says "What! You were in NYC and didn't let me know?!?" It would have been lovely to have met you...kinda on my home turf. You've described a day in the city so accurately. Enjoy!
