A few years ago I started to photograph the reflections on the refrigerator
[you can see some of them here]. I call it my Donald Judd, as it's basically an aluminium box, and this week I noticed how the light was changing on it; layers of subtle colour seemed to wash over it reminding me of strata of the the earth or visions of the universe. Or maybe its just more cabin fever.

Delete,,,,finding inspiration in 'ordinary' light situations - - yes! though I prefer the black and whites.....
ReplyDeleteI think I agree with you Rosaire, but exciting to find colour in this white word, a harbinger of spring.
DeleteI remember those photos. You had me looking at our refrigerator differently. Think I even photographed it a few times in your honor. As always, your photos are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer, don't you love how something so ordinary can become extraordinary…gotta love our fridges!
