Wishing You All The Very Best

Wishing you all the very best however you celebrate the season. We will go the route of family, friends, food and drink, books and music, studio time and walks with Zoe. The trees are up and decorated, and I am about to make tattie scones, something we always have for breakfast on Christmas morning. Basically left over mashed potatoes and flour, mixed to the consistency of pastry, rolled out very thinly, cut into triangles and fried. I think you might have to be a Davidson or Scottish to enjoy these, but I love them.

  3. Alice, thanks, you were probably 7 when you first came, the old house is much the same but the studios were rebuilt 15 years ago. Time for another visit to Quebec and bring the girls.

David, hope you are having a fine Christmas to and I look forward to seeing more of your work in 2011,

  4. Merry Christmas Liz (and John!). Made a big batch of tatties on Monday all ready for Christmas morning! Funny tradition...but wouldn't be the same without them!

Your place looks beautiful with all the holiday lights! I also want to live in your house, it is so gorgeous!!
