When It's Not Working

Sometimes I just need to leave a drawing for a day or two to see where it wants to go next. Some times it becomes obvious [I like that] and sometimes it says crumple me up and throw me away. Some go into the "for collage" pile. This week there seems to be more than a few that will be in those piles. Before I abandon all hope I play with them on the computer, hoping that will lead me back. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. And sometimes something new comes into being with the computer, yea, and sometimes it's more for the trash. A drawing I have worked on and off all week is now in the collage pile. As for the these, layered and altered on the computer, I'm not sure. More time needed.

    1. Thanks Tamar, still feel a bit shy about showing the unresolved / unfinished/ don't know work.

  3. I enjoy these drawings and your story of the collage pile. The density and color in "the gates" is beautiful, but I enjoy seeing the process you share. Thanks.
