Found

Unloading the car the other day I came across an empty coffee cup, unusual in our car as neither one of us can ever manage to drive and drink coffee at the same time. We always end up wearing the coffee. About to put it in the recycling I noticed the lines and shapes. So beautiful, so simple; the basic circle, and a line.

  1. Only you could turn an empty coffee cup into an amazing work of art. Very Zen. I'm sitting in my local Starbucks, fairly vibrating in my seat from the excitement and "what if's" your photos of such simpleness hold. Thank you. Just what I needed this morning.

    1. Thanks so much Jennifer. I think it was such a surprise finding the cup that made me "look" at it, although I must say i am very fond of taking photos of bowl of latté. Love the patterns and textures and it tastes good too!

  2. I agree with Jennifer - simply amazing...I love how we discover this beauty in the to-be-thrown-away things.

    1. Thanks Fiona, it's quite wonderful how our eye catches something and stops us in our busyness, make us look and regard or ponder. Take in and wonder at the simple beauty. As life does , this book was reviewed in the week-end paper.
