Walking back along my studio wall towards the woods |
Up the stairs and through the arch, Rosa Henry Hudson is having a fine year |
The Stone People, who will probably party as soon as we leave |
Through another arch to the pond |
The pond at dusk, even the water lilies have closed their flowers for the night |
Last light on the stone wall |
What a very beautiful garden you have Liz - the images are beautiful too
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Rosie, as you can tell I love it, and it is the source of constant inspiration...and work.
DeleteSo incredibly beautiful! and I love the stone people. That must have been a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Altoon, the stone people ended up marking an old barn foundation that we uncovered parts of, didn't know what to do at that time with the stones so just placed them. They fall over and get get up frequently. They also lose their heads.
DeleteWhat a glorious garden - such a contrast to the winter - when do you get time to create art??
ReplyDeleteThanks Noella, I am so glad we have such strong seasons, love gardening , but love winter when I can work in the studio with out the siren call. And by fall I'm ready!
DeleteWhat a glorious garden you have! Tell me, do the stone people dance and frolic in the dusk and rising sun? Do they sing and whisper their stories to you?
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who paints the most amazing cairns and hers do...at to me and a few others. Can't access her site at the moment, but search on Susan Makara if you want.
