Pink Beams of Light

Cedric was over yesterday with his laser, measuring for the banister for the studio stairs; and while he worked I took photos of the pink beams.

Watching the Light

There hasn't been a lot of sunshine lately so the other morning as I walked down the hall I was thrilled to see the sun reaching along the wall almost to the door. Ahh, it's almost equinox, almost spring.

Watching Light

Spent most of yesterday afternoon reading murder mysteries on the sofa, occasionally looking up at the light on the wall. And at the shadows, and at the angles of the shadows, and at the patterns they created.
And dreaming.

Such Beauty in Destruction

Went over to my friends house to see how the deconstruction / reconstruction was coming along and found these beauties.

Light

The last few mornings have had the most beautiful light, so precious and almost bittersweet at this time of year as we move to the fall equinox. Shadows fall in new places on the walls of the house and the light has a certain chalkiness that makes me remember ocean light.
