Frost

Finally the 1st frost; I've been waiting for this, looking forward to seeing the leaves outlined in white, that delicate tracing of their edges.

Lost and Found

We ran away for a few days this week and found this gem in Albany, I would have loved to bring him home but J. was not full of enthusiasm for the idea.

Crab Apples

Most mornings we sit outside under a crab apple tree and eat breakfast. The dew is heavy at this time of year and slides off the leaves and drips on to us which brings my attention to looking up and seeing the pattern, shapes and lines of this old tree.

Dawn Clouds
