There were some pastel drawings on the studio wall that I have been staring at for the past while, trying to engage in a conversation you might say. Well yesterday they spoke. And even thought I didn't have my hearing aids in, I could hear them. Thank you! This feels like the start of an interesting conversation.

Votre dégradé très subtil évoque un doux mouvement.
ReplyDeleteIt really 'feels like the start of an interesting conversation.'

Merci, c'est une douce conversation tranquille, et comme vous le dites à cotinued. Et il continue ..... lentement.
DeleteLove your idea of "a conversation" with your work. Yes, it is a total back and forth, a wonderful inquiry.
ReplyDeleteYour red squares reminded me of this from the past winter:

I look forward to seeing/hearing more of your conversation!
Thanks Joan, I like the idea of the conversation continuing, I also really like seeing connections between different bodies of work that I wasn't conscious of, as if [and there probably is] and underlying grid.
DeleteI love your art and your words.
ReplyDeleteJan, thank you so much!
DeleteBeautiful!
