The sketches/drawings on the wall [
link here] continue to talk to each other. Actually some days they seen to dance about constantly rearranging themselves, while other days they argue... loudly. The past couple of days they seem to be arguing; some feel they want to be tents while others feel they are houses. Don't ask me I say, I just want to play with shapes, and colors and line.

Conversations 2d definitely talks to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Olga! I'm loving working with these!
DeleteOh! I agree - Conversations 2d is talking to me as well. What a heavenly exchange.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer, I love that turquoise green in there...now how did I do that....
DeleteThese are beautiful - funny how images that appear so calm, settled and grounded can seem to dance and argue with one another ...
ReplyDeleteFor me, Tents 3 is the most appealing - but it's a very close run thing.
Thanks Charlton, things are quieter in the studio today, maybe giving them separate places on the wall has helped!
Delete.... and a second visit to thank you for your comment on my lavender post. It is always so good to know people out there are reading and enjoying.
ReplyDeleteThis blogging thing is most motivating and inspiring, especially to those like me learning as we work and with only a limited amount of formal art education.
I so admire your work and always follow you avidly - as you've probably realised from all my comments. Being able to dip into your process and your thoughts is fascinating. I feel I learn a lot and am inspired every time I visit your blog. Thank you.
Thank you so much Charlton, such a kind and generous thing to say. And you are so right about blogging!
DeleteNot the kind of work I normally appreciate but this is wonderful. Compliments!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Martin, I appreciate your words.
