Spectacular Growth
It's been unseasonably warm the past few days and you can watch things grow in front of your eyes. When we walked Zoe the other night, the Horse Chestnut [Aesculus hippocastanum] had big fat buds and by morning they were starting to open. By afternoon they had opened and the flowers were forming. Truly wondrous.

ReplyDeleteI'm watching just the same miracle in our garden in the UK. Every year it seems amazing but after the long grey cold of this winter, it seems more concentrated and dramatic this time.
It is a miracle to watch and like you I wish it would slow down a tad.....such a precious time of the year!
